Engaging with Parents and the Community

Engaging with parents and the community is essential for the success of GAA teams. Here are some ways to foster this engagement:

• Regular Communication: Keep parents informed about training schedules, match results, and team events. This can be done through groups, newsletters or social media.

• Encourage Parents to explore the Duhallow GAA Coaching Resource. There's a dedicated parents page, but also full access to skills etc.

• Involvement in Events: Encourage parents to participate in team events, such as fundraisers or social gatherings. This builds a sense of community and support.

• Feedback Opportunities: Provide opportunities for parents to give feedback on the coaching plan and team dynamics. This can help coaches make necessary adjustments.
