Engaging with parents and the community is essential for the success of GAA teams. Here are some ways to foster this engagement:
Regular Communication: Keep parents informed about training schedules, match results, and team events. This can be done through groups, newsletters or social media.
Encourage Parents to explore the Duhallow GAA Coaching Resource. There's a dedicated parents page, but also full access to skills etc.
Involvement in Events: Encourage parents to participate in team events, such as fundraisers or social gatherings. This builds a sense of community and support.
Feedback Opportunities: Provide opportunities for parents to give feedback on the coaching plan and team dynamics. This can help coaches make necessary adjustments.
Building strong relationships with parents and the community can create a supportive environment for players.
